🔮 Elder Apple (Peculiar)

Species: Kitbull

This trait is a WIP! While it is available for use, please be aware that designs submitted are more likely to be rejected if they use this trait due to lack of up to date reference material.

🌈 1 Trait from the list can be added to a kitbull by using the Elder Apple item.

★ When creating or editing a character with this trait:
✦ If the trait was applied using the item it cannot be swapped to another trait from the same peculiar
✦ Editing coverage and size is a free change when doing a design update
✦ Editing the style the trait presents itself costs an Appearance Change.
✦ If the design was created/purchased with this trait without use of an item it can be swapped to a different trait from the Elder Apple list using an Appearance Change.
✦ Each trait from the list counts as 1 peculiar trait, to apply multiple traits from the list will require access to multiple items or multiple peculiar traits.

The "REQUIRES" section states a prerequisite aspect needed to apply the trait. Please make sure your character already has the corresponding aspect OR that the character has an empty aspect slot when submitting your design if the trait requires a common aspect!

★ Sea Tail


Trait: Replaces the kitbull's tail with a fish-like or shark-like tail
Size: 2x body length - chest to butt.

❌ Replaces the tail. Cannot stack with odd tail or other tail replacement traits (unless using multi tail)

★ FINS


Trait: Gives the kitbull as many fins as you'd like of any kind on their body/tail/face/etc
Size: Fins individually can be up to 1x body length long - chest to butt - and overall can be placed on up to 50% of the design total.

❌ Does not replace other traits or features
❌ Fins should clearly be fins and not resemble feathers, wings, or plants.
❌ Does not change the tail tip

★ Fin Replacement


Trait: Replaces one part of the kitbull with only fins.
Size: Replacements follow the normal sizing of their respective trait. Individually a fin can be up to 1x body length - chest to butt.

✅ Replaces ONE of the following areas per use of the trait:

  • Mane/hair
  • Ears
  • Tail

★ GLASS Body


Trait: Part of the kitbull or their entire body becomes glass-like and can be filled with objects.
Size: Can have up to 75% total coverage of the design

🌀 REQUIRES: No extra requirements!

✅ Empty by default but can be filled with any non-elemental, non-liquid, non-magical, and non-living substance or objects. Ex: food, candy, toys, weapons, stargold, more glass. Basically anything not granted by a trait.
✅ Can affect main body, limbs, horns, tail, head, etc!
✅ Can optionally have cracks
✅ Can be combined with other peculiars to gain various insides! If it's something that specifically peculiar grants, the glass can be filled with it. Ex: slime, water, liquid gold, blood, fire, lava, crtters, living plants, skeletal structure, ghosts, dreams, and so on! Each instance of something filling the glass requires a separate use of the corresponding peculiar to that element/object.
✅ Can be combined with crystalized soul to shatter the glass
✅ Can be combined with a spiral eye stone to make missing chunks/holes in the glass
✅ Cracks, shattered parts, and holes can all lightly leak any insides the kitbull may have
✅ Glass can be tinted different colors and vary in opacity
✅ Glass can be shiny/glasslike and can be trasparent or lightly translucent but should not appear metallic

❌ Kitbulls do not have bones/organs/blood by default so these would not show up in the glass unless a peculiar is applied to allow for them. Please keep all gore or horror PG-13!
❌ All traits must still retain their normal appearance/anatomy when replaced with glass!

★ Elemental: METAL


Trait: Replaces one part of the kitbull with metal magic. The replaced area will be made out of gold, silver, bronze, platinum or otherwise a metallic substance in a solid or liquid form.
Size: Can replace up to 100% of the part chosen. Can be up to 100% body size per application, including trailing areas.

✅ CAN MODIFY/REPLACE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING per use:

  • Wings
  • Horns
  • Eyes
  • Insides
  • Markings
  • Arms
  • Legs
  • Tail
  • Head hair
  • Mane
  • Ears
  • Tips of traits/parts of body fur
  • Markings
  • Other peculiar traits like halo, flora, ecosystem, etc!

✅ If just applying the same element to the tips of the design you only need to use this trait once. Ie: Adding fire to the tips of wings, ears, and tail will only cost 1 trait, but having a large amount of fire on the wings+tail or making both of them out of fire costs x2 uses of the trait.
✅ When applied it can affect multiple instances of a trait or just one.
✅ Can trail off the affected area(s)

❌ Only modifies traits, does not ADD new traits on. If you want wings made of water you will need the wing mutation AND this trait.
❌ Each use of the trait modifies ONE area with ONE element. For multiple elements you will need multiple uses of the trait.
❌ Can only apply elements based off aspects the kitbull has. Elements should match the aspect in some way! There is some minor overlap between some elements but overall they should make sense. IE: shadow should be dark, metal should be metallic, however you do things like ash for the fire aspect, slime for the water aspect, ect! Not all aspects have elemental applications and some may require other peculiars instead.
